Third part of our story is ready. Let' s choose the best ending!
Toads were stuck there for nine days because they couldn’t get a ship or airplane to come and rescue them. They caught fish and crabs to eat, because they did not have much food left. They created a house from palm tree leaves. On the rainy days, they went into a cave and slept near the bats. Luckily, Toads found an extraordinary treasure chest. They opened it and saw ten barrels of gold.
Meanwhile in Sunnyland, Eramus and elves worried about Toads, because they were absent for a few days. They decided to make a team. This team was going to look for Toads and decided to take them back. Toads survived by their wits and they are dismayed to discover the island is slowly sinking.
1) Will they be rescued before the island totally sinks into the ocean?
2) Will they use barrels as a boat and survive to find a new island?

ELF story continues....
The Toads decided to go on a holiday somewhere very far away. So, they went to the airport and flew to Elfvegas. As they sat on the airplane, there was a very bad guy who didn’t like elves. He sat behind the Toads with his evil friends. When they landed in Elfvegas, the evil guys tried to steal the Toads stuff.The Toads had already found out that the guys were dangerous, but the Toads didn’t know that the evil guys were following them.
At the hotel they went to bed and the next day they found out that these evil guys were in the same hotel. So, it was a very bad holiday: the evil guys were in the same hotel, the food was bad, the ocean was cold and the weather was bad too. The Toads wanted to leave Elfvegas. They decided to leave Elfvegas by airplane but their flight was late and a terrible thunderstorm hit Elfvegas. They thought that they could steal a boat and try to get back to Elfville. So they stole a boat but after a day’s journey, they were shipwrecked.

VIDEO CONFERENCE ITALY - CROATIA, 14th November 2016
On Monday 14th November 2016 the video conference between the fourth graders from Croatia and Italy was held. The topic of the video conference was FAMILY. The students were introducing their family members to each other. They were also singing and asking a lot of questions. It was a great experience for all of them!

HALLOWEEN IN SUNNYLAND
It
was Halloween and Elfville was filled with jack-o'-lanterns and such.
As the sun was setting, everyone was going trick-or-treating in their
spookiest costume. Eramus was dressed up as a skeleton and his friends
were dressed up in their costumes, too. The elves were very happy
because they got a lot of candy, but when they came home, they saw that
all of their valuables were stolen. The next day, Eramus found out that
everyone's valuables were stolen last night. He decided to find the
thieves and get back all of the jewelry that the elves owned, and Santa
gave him permission. Eramus started the search by checking out the
naughty elves in Elfville and found out that a group of three elves
called The Toads have gone to a town in the northest part of Sunnyland
with a lot of bags filled with shiny objects. Eramus thought that that
was very suspicious and decided that he and a couple of other elves go
and investigate the situation. They set off in the morning, hoping that
they would come back with the possessions. It was a hard journey, but
after two days they made it to the small harbor town Eramus was told
about. There they found out that three elves have rented a boat trip to a
faraway land, and they are scheduled to leave at 19:00. Eramus looked
at his watch. It was already 18:30! The elves rushed to the harbour and
saw The Toads loading bags filled with gold and jewels on the boat.
Eramus and his friends snuck up behind them and tied them up so that
they can't escape. They took the jewelry bags and before they left, they
asked the now infamous Toads why they did all of this. „We're sick of
wrapping presents all year round! “,they replied. „We haven't had a day
off in months so we thought that if we got rich, we could quit our job
and live good for the rest of our lives!“ Eramus nodded and told the
other elves that it's time to get back to Elfville.
When they came back home, they were greeted with open arms. All of the elves got their belongings back and they were very happy.
The
elves wanted to punish The Toads, but Eramus told everyone why they did
all of this. The other elves felt bad for The Toads and they forgave
them. Santa gave The Toads a month off of work, making them very happy.

The new story
It is time to start a new story. Here is the story that the Croatina team wrote. Read it and choose the ending you like the most.

2nd transnational meeting in Alexandroupolis-Greece
The 2nd transnational meeting of our ELF project was successfully held in Alexandroupolis (05-07/10/2016).The coordinators and teachers who took part observed lessons with the use of ICT, participated in workshops about the project and visited some interesting sights in the area of Alexandroupolis-Evros. The next meeting will be held in Finland in February 2017.

Our last chapter of the BoomWriter story is finished
We have
completed writing our BoomWriter story. The best entry was written by the Polish
elves. At the moment the Polish school is working on the online version of our
book. The Turkish pupils are creating pictures for the last chapter. The
previous ones were illustrated by the Polish and Italian teams.

1st Short Term Exchange of Groups of Pupils- Croatia
The first short term exchange of groups of pupils took place in 1st primary school Bjelovar in Croatia from the 18th till the 22nd of April. During that week pupils and teachers learned and saw many interesting things.
MONDAY
Pupils and teachers from Croatia prepared a wonderful welcome program.
After the program we walked around Bjelovar and went to the County Hall where we were greeted by Mrs. Ana Antolović the Head of the Department for Education, Culture, Sports and National Minorities in Bjelovar- Bilogora county.

In the afternoon we had a workshop where we created a model of an average participant of our ELF project. This is Pepik.
TUESDAY
In the morning the pupils had two workshops. In one of the workshops they made necklaces with pendants with their initial written in Glagolitic alphabet.
During the second workshop pupils learned how to use web tools- Emaze, Mixbook and Qzzr.
In the afternoon pupils played a City game. They explored Bjelovar and had loads of fun.
Later all the pupils had a workshop in the town library.
WEDNESDAY
In the morning pupils and their teachers went to the Town Hall where they were greeted by the major of Bjelovar Mr. Antun Korušec.
After that all the pupils participated in the Project day organized in the 1st primary school. Each class presented Croatia in some way.
In the afternoon we went to the capital city- Zagreb where we had an organized tour and some free time.
THURSDAY
We spent a wonderful day in the beautiful national park Plitvice lakes. "A picture is worth a thousand words".
FRIDAY
In the morning pupils had three workshops. They wrote the articles regarding their stay in Croatia for the Elf world magazine. They made an ELF phrasebook of Friendship and Fun. They also did a survey regarding their stay in Croatia and signed their names on the Wall of Fame. Later we had a Kahoot! quiz about Croatia.
In the afternoon we had a farewell party. We had some pizza and a wonderful ELF cake.
This was a wonderful experience for us all. Thank you all for everything!
