Name and gender of our mascot chosen and revealed!
The participants of the ELF project have named their mascot, Eramus! The winner is the name that got the most votes during our online poll (357 out of 1554). The pupils have also decided its gender. A majority of those polled (246 out of 420) voted for a boy.

True or false?
The members of the ELF clubs from all the countries made the most of the opportunity to get to know their partners. With the use of Voki, the hottest animated site for foreign language students, they created presentations in which they told at least 2 truths and 1 lie about themselves. Other pupils visited their new friends' TwinSpace profiles with Voki speaking avatars and guessed which the lie was.

FIRST VIDEOCONFERENCE CROATIA - CZECH REPUBLIC
First videoconference between 7 and 8 graders from Bjelovar, Croatia and their peers from Prague, Czech Republic was held on Wednesday, October 21,2015.
Our pupils asked and answered a lot of questions and they got to know each other quite well.
At first, they were a little bit shy, but later they relaxed and had a lot of fun.
They all agreed that the videoconference was a great experience for them and they are also looking forward to the next one!

Our project kick-off meeting in Prague
The ELF project was officially launched during a successful three-day meeting which took place from 6th October to 8th October 2015 in Prague, the Czech Republic. Representatives of all the partner schools came together to discuss project activities and assign their responsibilities. They established guidelines that will help all of us complete the project on time and within budget. The participants were also trained in the Web 2.0 tools that are going to be used during the project.
The Czech school organized an excellent kick-off meeting that got all the participants focused on the same objectives. Visiting Prague was unforgettable experience! All thanks to the great host team and the scenery of their hometown! Nestling alongside the mighty River Vltava, Prague is a fairy-tale city of magical beauty all of us are still bewitched by! The meeting was also the opportunity to get to know each other, form friendships, and share inspiration!
